100% Cotton Sarongs Gorgeous Prints

We are loving these Indian Block Print Sarongs, lightweight soft cotton, generous sizing with so many gorgeous prints!

Our Block Print Sarongs are all individually hand stamped – that’s right, those gorgeous colours and patterns in our sarongs are all 100% hand made.

To make these pretty patterns, talented craftspeople need to create the printing blocks from either metal or wood. Artisans are able to make tiny prints to create more defined lines and patterns, and the results are stunning! Each Sarong is then created by hand block printing onto soft 100% cotton fabric. The dyes used are typically natural, non toxic food derived dyes made from fruits, vegetables, plants and bark by traditional methods.

Each region of India has a different style of Block Printing, ensuring an array of variations – of which we have sampled a selection from across the country. No two are ever exactly the same due to hand stamping process, each one will have slight differences which we think makes them even more special.

There are so many ways to wear and use your Indian Block Print Sarongs. Team up with your swimwear as a coverup, or drape around your shoulders for some relief from the sun or cool breeze.

Our sarongs are also perfect to throw on your dining table to add a touch of character and colour to your dining space. Also great to use on outdoor tables for a summer vibe and they are so lightweight that you can wash and dry them in no time at all.
